“When Being an Expert is a Disadvantage” by Guest Blogger Joy Goldman

Joy’s post relates to working in healthcare, but I think anyone in the workplace can relate to what she is saying about how expertise can sometimes make us miss important things…like the customer’s perspective or a new way to do an old process.

She talks about the challenges of letting go of our egos to be more connected to others – and I would add – be more engaged.
